About Us

RCB Auctions is Thailand’s premier antiques and art auction house. We commenced operation on July 26, 1985, with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX, who graciously presided over the opening ceremony. For over 36 years, RCB Auctions has earned a reputation as Thailand’s premier antiques and art auction house.

The management team’s expertise is supplemented by a select group of advisors; themselves authorities from academia in the faculties of fine arts, South Asian history, and Buddhism. Together with collectors who have traded in Thai and South Asian antiques for 50 years, the team authenticates artefacts which go under the hammer. Some of our advisors are professors of Thailand Universities. RCB Auctions' particular specialty is in Sino-Thai porcelain known as Benjarong, Chinese porcelain, silver, nielloware and traditional Thai art. Experts in the field of Thai contemporary art join the advisory in 2021.
